Hi AVALON Applicants!!


 


The application procedure for AVALON has been updated and reinforced since Oct. 2012. Please read carefully below if you're interested in applying and email the 'essay' and 'teaching sample video' to PATRICK LEE (patrick@atcrecruiting.com)  ASAP!  The number of positions are very limited for Nov.~ Dec. 2012 so better to be hurry!!

1. The teacher must pass the initial screening/interview with HR


2. Submit questionnaire form, essay and teaching sample video (see attachments)


3. Pass 2nd interview with campus director or head teacher IF they request it.

Please choose the grade level you see yourselves as a good fit with (Elementary or Middle School level) and you can refer with either the Jump Speaking lesson or TOEFLibt lesson PDF file) What AVALON is looking for is for the you to be able to clearly explain the directions as well as as execute the lesson in an engaging and fun way. The video can be anywhere from 5-10 minutes and uploaded to YouTube.

Please select one of the topics below and write a standard five-paragraph essay (two pages double-spaced, 500 word limit) answering the question or discussing the posed topic.  Reprint the essay topic as the title and include your name and date on each page. Formal citations are not necessary, but please back up your argument with evidence and analysis.
