Movies

There are many multi-complex cinemas in Korea, including CGV, MegaBox, Cinus, etc.
They are usually located in crowded subway station areas with lots of facilities nearby.
It costs about 5,000 ~ 9,000 won per movie, and they are generally very crowded over the weekends.

There are 15 MegaBox branches throughout Korea. Here is the information of MegaBox in Coex.
Direction: Take a subway line number 2 and get off Samsung station. Use exit number 5 or 6.

Ticket Price information:
Weekdays: The first movie in the morning: 5,000won / Other: 8,000won
Weekends: The first movie in the morning: 5,000won / Other: 9,000won

CGV

Direction:
1) Gangbyeon branch: Take a subway, line number 2 and get off at Gangbyeon station. Use exit number 1.
2) Myeong-dong branch: Take a subway, line number 2 and get off at Uljiroipgu station. Use exit number 6.

Ticket Price Information
Monday~Thursday: The first movie in the morning: 5,000won / Other: 8,000won
Friday~Sunday: The first movie in the morning: 5,000won

The second movie to the movie starting before 23:00 : 9,000 won
After 23:00: 8,000 won


*Ticket price could be different depending on the branch.
There are 6 other CGV branches (Kimpo airport, Guro, Mokdong, Bulkwang, Sangam, Yongsan) in Seoul and many branches throughout Korea.

Cinus

Direction
Gangnam branch: Take a subway line number 2 and get off at Gangnam station. Use exit 5.
Bundang branch: Take a subway, Bundang line and get off Seohyun station. Use exit 4. It is located in from of number 2 gate in Samsung plaza.

Ticket Price Information
Ticket Prices are different depending the movie time, branch and day.
It is between 5,000 ~ 9,000 won like CGV and Megabox.

Teacher’s Bus recommends you to go to the movie in the early morning or weekend if you want a lower price.
